Did you notice the uly on EBAY from the Ft. Smith AR dealer? It's up to $9600. Ah, the new world of commerce. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Buell-XB12X-NEW-Buell-XB12X-ULYSSES-not-BMW-GS-or -Dual-Sport_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ6704QQitemZ4609082718QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZW DVW (Message edited by biker_bob on February 01, 2006) |

Given my experience with the sales dept. at that dealership, nothing surprises me. I don't know why they bothered [or were allowed] to keep the Buell line, frankly. The sales guy told me he didn't even want it on the floor. Looks like his prediction that "No one will buy that thing" became a self fulfilling prophesy, hence the eBay "Hail Mary" move. The service guys there are very pro-Buell, though. Isn't it interesting how that often seems to be the case? |

IIRC, DaveS has said that Buell dealers selling new Buells on ebay violates their franchise agreement. |

They have been reported to the factory. Selling new Buells on Ebay is in direct violation of their dealer agreement. I suggested in my email to them that if they can't sell Buells, especially the Uly they should just give them up. |

Daves, Is it possible that their intent in violating the agreement was to have their Buells taken away? |
