I've been to 3 dealers, and they not only don't have any Ulys, they don't know when they are getting them. Nearest dealer is 75 miles away, next nearest 300 miles, and last one was 350 miles. This is going to be such a hassle. Yesterday I drove 4 hours to the Vancouver bike show, arrived at opening time. Went straight to the Buelly display. Sumbitch that things tall! I wore my riding boots, but it was tip-toe time. But otherwise it was everything I had hoped it would be. Advertised seat height is 35", same as a KLR650, but I can straddle a KLR and get the balls of my feet comfortably down, not on the Uly! No short seat available at the show. So I guess I will have to live with it! Time to save money and find a dealer with a bike. Sure hope Spring comes early this year. Smoky |

Plus, the Uly's seat is wider than the KLR's |

Humm...I have a 36" inseam, and I can stand with both feet flat on the ground with my butt not touching the seat. So I highly doubt the seat height is 37". Unless I grew since I bought my last pair of pants. I had a KLR too. It's not a tall as the Ulysses. Possibly because the suspension is so squishy that I mashed it down. |

yeah,chad...i also have a 36" inseam and can't get my butt off the seat when flat footed. so i highly doubt you have a 36" inseam...maybe a 38" and your 36's are high waters? maybe i got ripped off on my tape measure? good grief |
