I picked up my Uly on Saturday and found the detailed instructions on setting up the suspension interesting and informative. Using the manual's guidelines, I set up the bike's suspension for my riding weight. Well, the headlights are now pointing way too low (actually, they were way too low before I adjusted the suspension - I guess no-one at the dealership took my bike out for a night ride). I look in the owner's manual on how to adjust the headlights and it tells you to consult the service manual. Shouldn't a bike that comes with in depth information on setting up it's suspension also have info on the something that is directly effected by adjusting the suspension? I mean really, I know I have to pick up a Service Manual, but this is too much. Or does Buell think owners are capable of the multiple adjustments necessary to properly balance our bikes, but only a HD mechanic has the wherewithal to adjust the headlights. Anyway - anyone else have to adjust their headlights? Anything I should know before I go about it? Thanks, clang |

Clang, If you havn't found it already the hight adjustment bolt is under the front fender. Other than that it's pretty straight forward. |

you should loosen the upper 2 bolts(find the holes in the fairing) so they will pivot, along with the single lower one(torx head bolts). first thing i had to do to mine after 100 miles in the dark with the headlight pointing at the ground in front of me. oh and full up is too high...found that one out too. |

All I did was loosen the bolt running through the fender and raised the light pod a bit. Just eyeballed it. It's fine now. |
