Replace the cheap plastic hand guards on your XB9SX or XB12X with these lovely British made carbon fibre items.

Save weight, look good and keep your pinkies warm, and all for just US$100 a pair (approx)..........What else could you want!

Since 100 bucks is nothing to you, how about ordering a pair for me while you are at it.

For that kind of money I would've liked them to a bit taller on top or have a spoiler much like the add-on Tourtech spoilers that will available this spring.. Don't get me wrong, they look cool but I'd rather put the $$ towards other mods.

Trojan, let me know if a larger/taller handguard becomes available.

The hand guards seem like a good place to add mirrors to. Make them taller with mirrors. Maybe the vibration would be less since they would not be at the end of a stalk.

I'm afraid with the beating my 'cheap' hand guards have absorbed, I would need hand guard pucks if I had a set of those CF beauties.

Amen, Lowflyer.

I'll take "strong" over "pretty" any day.

The sturdy brushguards I put on my DRZ400S have been beat to death. Funny thing is though my brake and clutch levers are like new....

While some may like the look of the brushguards I like them because they may save me from a long walk (or slow ride) back to civilization should I dump the bike out in the boonies.

Of course the C/F guards may be strong and pretty.

Regards,

Jim in Santa Barbara

Yep! They're also good for slapping car mirrors when lane sharing! LOL! Ask me how I know that one....
