I've been going to the gym regularly (4-5 times a week)for at least the last 30 years. I went today and they staff said ' "where've you been ? - we haven't seen you for a long time" checked the log and the last time I went was 2 days after I bought the Uly! I gotta get a grip. If I'm not riding it, cleaning it, or putzing with it in some other way, I'm reading about doing one of those things. Anybody else find themselves totally consumed with the bike? |

I have the disease also. I think I am going to call it Ulysses Obsessive Disorder. Tinkering and messing with it in one way or another and worrying about tires, the weather, and things I won't need for months has crowded out just about all my other activities. I don't even buy groceries any more-funds have been commandeered for parts, accessories, helmets, heated clothing, whatever. I need professional help. |

Ulysses Anonymous? Hmmm. Maybe I'm not quite ready for that yet. Step 1 - We admitted we were powerless over the Ulysses--that our lives had become unmanageable. Powerless - Yes! Unmanageable ? Heck no. The first step is supposed to be admitting you have a problem (which we did) - but "unmanageable"? maybe I'm still in denial Proposed UA Step 1. We admitted that we were powerless over the Ulysses - that the rest of our lives had become UNMANAGED. When we get done with Step 1 we can move to Step 2. I would also suggest we could start a support group but I think this is it. |

oh yea, I'm addicted to the Ulysses. With the temps reaching over 50 many times in south central Pa. its been helping me cope with the winter blues. But since mid Dec. I've started a new Addiction....Trail riding with my Yamaha Grizzly. I've been out every weekend since. I broke a rear wheel this weekend so I'm trying everything to get a new wheel or wheels so I can ride next weekend. Temps are going to be in the 50's again.

I must say...I share the addiction. An observation - I am on several MC and Auto forums and hear mostly bitching and "how do I work this" kinda stuff. Very refreshing to hear mostly "I love this" conversation! Ride safe and thanks for the Buell-aide |

My Opto is addicted it's all he thinks about, he even said my car has to go outside so he can put Uly in the shed. Okay I said. "I need to buy this for the ULY,I need to buy that for the Uly" okay I said. I was wondering what it was that makes me just say Okay, it's the old UDO, then again I think these Buell's are just addictive. Maybe that's why he gave me his XB12S, now all we do is talk Buell. I feel much better having said it out loud, thanks Guys. Gotta go, missing my Buells |

As quoted by Fubar; An observation - I am on several MC and Auto forums and hear mostly bitching and "how do I work this" kinda stuff. Very refreshing to hear mostly "I love this" conversation! That is very true...until Dragon Slayer hijacks another thread. Oops, too late, look up two posts! |

By the way, I to am infatuated with the Uly (black). It's hard to reprimand the child about her lack of time management skills when all of my free time is devoted to the bike! |

I know what you mean Snub13, I was cleaning the garage yesterday, making good progress until I decided the valves on the Ulysses needed "adjustment". I fought off the urge for about 15 minutes but the dam bike kept staring at me from the other side of the garage. It took about 180 miles or so to get the valves dialed in just right. |

She keeps whispering "Touch me, ride me, turn my bolts, buy me something pretty". I'm not right. |

JInance and Dragon are you trying to tell me that Opto is just taking me for a ride? Because I do not believe you, he likes to spend quality time with me. He values my opinion on how the he and Uly are performing.... how much I praise him on his ability to satisfy me with a great ride .....and what a gentleman he is when he helps me to dismount. I do not believe there is any other motive behind his intentions.
