Finally got a chance to ride my Uly (was in a cast) with my new Drummer exhaust and new Corbin seat. I have had numerous Harleys with modified exhaust systems, and the Drummer is very much the same in sound and power improvement. The 50 or so miles I rode left me undecided about the seat. It did lower me a bit, which I needed, but damn that baby is stiff. My ride was all back roads, so I was in the saddle for a while. I never liked the stock seat much and hope that the Corbin gets better with some break in time.

The corbin is much stiffer, but is seeming to break in with miles. It is also much easier to slide around on to shift weight in the twisties. I tend to spend most of my time snugged up against the tank, though, I guess because of years on hypersport bikes and trying to keep the front wheel on the ground.

I have had Corbin seats on my last 4 bikes and am sold. They are hard but are *the most* comfortable on long rides. They do kinda break in, but I would not expect it to get soft. More like it molds to your butt.

I will get my Uly in a couple weeks and am trying to keep an open mind about the seat, as it is so well reviewed (I am pretty tall). That failing, I am off to Hollister (again) to get a seat done.

Good luck,
fubar
