How are Buell dealers about warranty service? If I buy from you, then need a fix at home...any issues?

Warranty work shouldn't cause great concern since it's still a good paying job (they just get paid by the factory) to the best of my knowledge. I ended up buying mine through a dealer a couple hundred miles away and have now had both the first service and a minor warranty repair done in two other dealerships with no hassle at all.
My biggest wish is that I had a dealer that is half as jazzed about Buell products as Dave obviously is! Based on his enthusiasm, I'm seriously thinking that hooking up with his group to see the U.P. for the first time might be well worth the ride up...
Being that I'm not retired, I'll start checking the calendar as it gets a little closer... |

I don't know how most dealers operate but we love to work on bikes that were not bought here.
Let's us show off one of the reasons they should get their next one here.
I think you'd be fine and if not I can always "help"

If you'll have me, I'll be up for a day or two of the trip, suppose I can ride up with Kandie and Bobbie.
Hope you have a similar promo going next year, I'll probably be in the market for a Uly. I just can't trade the Firebolt...
It would be awesome to see 10 new Ulys hit East Troy with Dave and then rail the UP!

Hey Dave I haven't bought a ULY locally yet and I was wondering how the promo is going. Any chance of haggling on the price? I've got the wifes' O.K. to buy! and with no worthy dealer anywhere close, I'm just looking for great deal!  At least I'm getting this thread back up on the list with a new post... How far from central Iowa do I have to go to be able to test ride a Uly? The dealer that is 1 mile down the rode claims they won't have a demo till sometime in the spring. I know I'm not the only one around that is waiting to ride one. |

I just may have to take you up on that. I'm getting sick of driving by the shop every day and seeing 2 Uly's just sit there. A rode trip may be in order. What are the chances of it snowing or being slick out in Wis in Jan??!!? |

I wish I would have asked for a test-ride when I was there on Friday!! I didn't think it would be an option with there still being salt on the roads and all.
What's up Dave, this is Adam, I met you Friday and am thinking of trading or selling my YZF600 for the Uly. Still working on convincing the wife, but will continue to read here to keep the excitement going. Thanks for all the info! |

Me, too. Helmet (Fulmer for me), Armored, convertible jacket, and gloves. No bike yet, but methinks one mayhaps be in me future.
