Does anybody have a price for the Goodyear Hibrex® belt. Just curious. And how easy is it to replace along side the road. Also, how easy is it to yank off the front and rear tire at roadside. Had to pull the rear off my Connie and it was a tough go even on a lift. My BMW owning friend noted that the rear wheel on his RT come off with just four bolts like a car wheel. Paul |

The belt is 162.00 Badweb price is 145.80 of course, after you buy your Uly from me you'll get 15% discount so that would make the belt 137.70 Not too bad to change on the side of the road as long as you have some tools. |

I haven't pulled my wheels off yet, but I can't imagine it being any easier/harder to remove them than any other bike that hasn't a single-sided swingarm. You can't argue with four bolt wheel removal. That is unless you consider the trade-offs in weight, horsepower, and maintenance requirements. The belt is good for the life of the bike, is it not? |

Daves, I'm not so afraid of the great white north as I was. I'll probably be seeing you in May. Lowflyer That's what they say about the belt, but I would probably take one along with me on a future trip to Alaska, just in case. Paul |
