I have tried several different methods for storing some minimal tools and emergency supplies under the seat. So far the challenges have been securing the items so the don't move around too much and make some unwanted electrical connection and keeping them out of the way when securing the seat. It may not be a big deal now as I just got one of my three hardbags but I'm still curious - What's under your seat?

I have the owners manual (in plastic), original Uly tool kit, very small roll electrical tape, some electrical fittings, 5" vise grips and 5" adjustable wrench, couple of light sticks, shop towel, one of those headlamps (miner-style flashlight), Torx 27 driver, leatherman tool.

Thanks

Don

Shop rag, tire gauge, original tool kit, and documents stored in a freezer bag. I also had a dozen cider donuts from the Louisburg Cider Mill (Louisburg, KS) in there on Friday. I got them home without smashing one and they stayed warm!

And yes, I will spell 'gauge' any way I damn well please. you, spell checker!

I have the owners manual, insurance and vehicle registration card in a freezer bag, cycle pump, pocket tire plugger kit, and original tool kit, under the seat.

Flashlight, tape, extra tools get to go into the tank bag.

1203 cc of pulsating American V Twin! Oh, I see, you meant higher. Nothing much, insurance card, resignation and some spare fuses for the bike and electric vest. I quit trying to carry my roll around tool box in my car and bike years ago! May add a few items later. More concerned with carrying the clothing gear a ride might require.
