Just wondering if production has caught up with demand. I noticed Jim's HD of St. Pete had a black one on the floor when I was there. Anyone still having trouble locating bikes? | ||

Port Charlotte has (as of two weeks ago) still got their original one (which I would have gladly bought at the end of September if they would have sold it to me at retail without the HD style bump fees). Sarasota FWIW has sold a total of one and has none in stock. I am told their next one is already sold to one of their employees. | ||

One black one in stock at Lowcountry HD/Buell in Charleston, SC as of ~1 week ago. Their first 2 were sold as soon as they came in. | ||

Dillon Brothers H-D/Buell in Omaha sold me my ULY with full hard bags installed for an out the door price of 11,500. Omaha, Nebraska is a great place to visit and is located smack dab in the center of the USA. I don't see anybody selling a ULY for this kind of price on this board. There was a black one at Old Fort [formerly Denney's] H-D in Fort Smith, AR a a few weeks ago. The sales guy resented having it there, taking up space on the floor...."I didn't want one...it's too damn tall...no one would ride that thing." Of course, he was a little perplexed when he heard that I had been riding one for a while. He came out and looked at the bags...couldn't imagine why I went 200 miles to buy one when HE was only 60 miles away.....gee...go figure. If it is still there, they might be willing to deal some....nah...what was I thinking?  | ||

Sheldon's in Auburn, MA has a black and an orange. They're a little new at trying to sell Buells, but they ARE trying. Their biggest asset is having Jay Hawley (founder of the American Thunderbike Club) working in their Service Dept. | ||

I agree with Daves entirely as I would have gladly paid retail to an enthusiastic dealer for mine and my buddy's when we were shopping for two of them at the same time. Bottom line though is that since we couldn't stomach the extra $700-900 in added fees the local dealers wanted above full retail, we dealt with a dealer about 200 miles from me and paid $9,995 for each with $495 in prep, plus tax of course. It was something like $11,100 or so OTD back in late September. And yeah, my observation has definitely been that most of the "Harley" dealers are not at all enthusiastic about this product. Sounds like we need more of the Daves out there if Buell is ever to become what it could be... | ||

My dealer (Cerini H-D, Rostraver, PA) had it's "new owner Christmas party" last night and they had a Uly (black of course), an XB12SS, and a City X all just inside the front door. Very nice to see. They had a nice turn out and several people, myself included, were sporting our Buell shirts. | ||

Gail's HD in Grandview, MO will enthusiastically and passionately take your money. I believe they have a black one on the floor at the moment. I have had good luck so far with their service department. | ||
