Even though I only have 20 miles on the new Uly I am interested in the drummer. Due to snow I will be doing little if any actual riding for the next few months. I will be doing quite a bit of pretend riding while sitting on it in the garage and making motor noises. I tried running the motor once for the pretend riding session and apparently my wife found me passed out in the garage and had the ambulance take me to the hospital. Some rubbish about Carbon Monoxide (is that like carbon fiber?).

I need to know how much louder than stock it is. I don't mind it slightly louder. I had a Two Brothers Racing pipe on my recently sold BMW RT.
It sounded great but was just this side of too loud (also had an annoying habit of backfiring if you slammed the throttle shut, due to the really lean BMW mapping).

Does the drummer have to be repacked from time to time?

Opinions on the sound would be greatly appreciated?

Well I wear earplugs when I do long rides... nice at idle so I wont make the neighbours angry, but when you get it up in the rpms, it's loud. But A very very very nice sound... I have a video clip I can send you if you can handle 3.5 megs.

I have had the drummer on about 500 miles, then the cold+snow fell,no other mods to the ULY. Very nice pipe, not to loud, runs perfect-great fit.Would not hesitate to buy one.

I've never heard of anyone having to repack a Drummer. The packing is the least of your worries.

It's not real loud until you give it some gas, but at 60mph on the highway I can just hear it.
