Who is still waiting on their luggage ? I purchased my Uly on Sept. 9 , and ordered my complete luggage set the same day. It has shown "Packed " since 2 weeks out. 5 different shipping dates have come and gone , and still no luggage . I received my autographed windshield yesterday , # 53/100 . I like the windshield , but it sits on my desk . The luggage I could USE !! HAVE BIKE , NO LUGGAGE !! |

I got mine last week and ordered it mid-Sept. The guys at the parts department said this was the first set to come in and was actually from an order they had done earlier to have some on hand when the bikes came in. I think it helped that I called every couple days so when they finally got a set they gave it to me to get me to stop calling |

Wow guys, I bought my Uly Mid September and ordered the luggage then. It came in four weeks later. Do not hate me but I have been having so much fun riding the bike that I have not gotten to the dealer to have it installed. Waiting on bad weather. And no, I am not telling you which dealer the luggage is sitting at! |

I bought my Uly 2 weeks after they were announced, ordered the luggage at that time. It just came in to the dealer this week, picking it up today. Not a big deal, I haven't needed it and don't plan on mounting it until I do. I use my ventura Aeropack on my Uly all the time and it carries everything I need to carry so far, and it goes onto and come off of the bike in seconds with nothing done to the bike at all. If someone is in dire need of the luggage and theirs hasn't come in, I'll trade if you want to pick up shipping gettng mine and sending yours later. Given that we're heading into winter, I doubt anyone will take me up on this, though. Al |

Got mine now....side bags only though , it's a nice product and easy to use, both opening and closing and getting it on and off the frames. |

Bought mine 23rd of August. Still not here yet. Delivery date is 15 November. Tomorrow. So I guess this makes me the biggest wait on this site so everyone else can stop whining now. LOL |

Finally !!!! My luggage came in today and I installed it this evening. I'll stop whining now. The luggage is first rate . My first impression is that it looks big , but just think of all the room !! Good Luck and keep calling your dealer. I use the squeeky wheel approach. [ It took from Sept.8 til Nov. 15 to get my luggage] |

Luggage is beginning to "flow". I spoke to 3 folks who took delivery yesterday. In each case I got "it was worth the wait". Cool beans! |

I guess I have to take my name out as the longest waiting customer for the luggage. Came in yesterday. Exactly when they said it would. Unpacked it and checked to make sure everything was there. This is a high quality luggage set up. Very roomy and great looking. I can hardly wait for next summers tour. |

I put my side cases on Saturday night (the top case will go on perhaps tonight). The only issue is the "persuasion" required to get the right side bracket to mount to the inner side of the footpeg bracket. Luggage really appears to be well made and thought out. I rode with 7 other guys on Sunday (FRJ1300, ST1300, RT1150, VFR800, etc.). They had many nice things to say about the Ulysses. Regards, Jim in Santa Barbara |

I ordered my bike and the bags on 10/25. Got the bike on 11/04. No bags yet but this time of year I'm not thinking of any long trips. In addition, the bike and I are just getting to know each other so no big deal (yet). BTW, some guy on a HD pulled alongside me at a light the other day. He had lots of nice things to say until he said the Buells are like "disposable Harleys". Oh well, not everyone can be as enlightened as us. |

I suppose it all depends on your income bracket. I can't afford to replace it if I were to throw my Uly in the trash. |

Hey a Buell is different things to different folks. I had a bunch of Hells Angels kind of guys ride up behind me the last week I had the Uly out. They all had the noisy pipes and S & S carbs, the whole shabang. When we all pulled away I gave the Uly everything she was worth. I could see they were doing everthing they could to keep up but they just couldn't. I made sure when we got to the next light they knew it was a (disposable Harley) Buell. They didn't try to outgun the gunner at the next light I can assure you. I think they may have been a little sheepish. God I love this bike wahoo. Those fellows just need to pick their fights a bit better. They probably call the Uly a Fuccing Buell |

i think it took a few months for my luggage to get here. Just got them yesterday. apprently they are really good protection when the bike goes down. i haven't tested them yet for anything other than carrying beer and a computer. how waterproof are they? |

How waterproof are they? Lets see. They keep water out. Things inside dry. hmmmmmmmm I don't really know, I'm not quite sure. LOL I ordered mine the day I bought the bike, 23 Aug, the bags showed up 15 Nov. The dealer ordered them at the show before a Ulysses was availible. Thunderbox, The only cruiser I was ever out-dragged by (even with me two-up) on the Suzuki AN650 (scooter) was a Victory Vegas. A few others tried. Most cruisers, even with so-called 'speed' equipment, just aren't that quick. Either that, or most cruiser riders are inexperienced at sport(y) riding. Steve Gear up! |

I got my bike last tuesday and they had installed the bags already so I didn't have to wait any longer than for my bike. I only ride with the tour pack on and the side bags are in the house. Of course, now that it's below freezing out all day long, the ULY is sitting unridden in the garage. Winter sucks. |
