The low seat is super nice and puts me at a very secure footing now. (I cannot stress that enough!) I'm 5' 11" (on a good day) and have about a 30-31" inseam. Padding up front is sparse in comparison and the cut of the seat seems to change the character of the Ulysses to the aggressive side of riding. The seat encourages me to ride forward and invites me to shift my body in the corners. As expected, the bend at my knee is at a different angle.

The pillion is the same size and height as the stock seat. It doesn't appear to have the same covering texture nor foam material. It is firmer.

After two rides getting in around 120 miles, I've decided I like the stock seat better. Height is an issue but I just like the stock seat for the riding I do.

210 miles Friday on a Corbin seat and despite being disappointed that it wasn't lower yet, I think I've decided it's the seat I'll keep on the bike.

1st impression wasn't great since my inseam is about the same as Dave's and I was hoping it would be lower, but after the first hundred miles it really started feeling better than the stock seat. Sure it was only a little lower, but moving around on it during brisk cornering did feel allot more natural, and the whole "firmer is better" pitch that Corbin uses started to make sense to my back side as it seemed like it got more and more comfortable. With that said, it you are a motard style (sitting up on the high side of the seat, foot down even, and just pushing the bike down) rider rather than a hanging off the inside with your knee down type, I think the stock seat is the better perch.

Lastly, from the pics I have seen the fact that both the lower seats have no seams running across the inside of your leg, I think that too make me think one of them is the better long ride saddle. One thing I can say for sure is that it looks AWESOME on the bike! Mine came with the carbon fiber looking texture and I have no problem with the surface being slippery or anything of the type. Aside from getting used to the firm foam thing as mentioned above, it feels great.

Is it $350 better than stock, and even a $130 or so better than the Buell low..? Hard call to make, but I think I'll be riding in mine for a while.

Just my thoughts..
