My daughter wanted a ride on the new Uly today so we took off to turn in her traffic school info to the local court and on the way home I noticed a funny feeling in the front end..I have just passed the 500 mile break-in and was feeling a little frisky when I opened the throttle in 2nd gear at about 35 mph. I encountered a very vague vibration (?) until I realized the front tire was "OFF THE GROUND" slow motion but so surreal in the moment once I realized what I was feeling...Please keep in mind that my other bike (Harley) is 625# plus me and this has only happen once when I inadvertantly dumped the clutch. Can you say yeehaw!!! My 19 year old was asking me what was wrong because I was trying to keep this to myself, the last thing I need is my wife thinking I'm a hooligan!!!! Happy Halloween!!!! I'm guessing front tire life on this bike somewhere around 35,000 miles as its only used for landing not riding. Seemed its always in the air. |

LOL! Great story. Rear ballast definitely facilitates easy wheelies. |
