I see there are two jack points on the muffler. Anyone try it yet? I'm going to make a wooden cradle rather than jack directly on the muffler. My Pit Bull bike jack for my S3 is a bit shy of working on the XB12X swingarm. DAve | ||

If they'd raise the bike level or not, safe, secure, etc. I jacked mine up with the kickstand down. It didn't appear to be very solid. I'm not sure if I'd trust it in pulling the wheel, bumping it to check static timing, etc. DAve | ||

Depends upon how you jack it up and secure it. I use a rear stand as well as a Craftsman ATV jack to get the bike level. The rear stand provides stability and the jack lifts up the front. The key to making a template is to make sure the radius/curve is very close to the muffler shape and to use a grippy type material where contact is made. I used wet-suit material used for scuba diving on the wood parts which does a good job but I also tie it down once lifted.
