Well we've finally finished the Project THOR Supermoto Ulysses, just 2 days before it goes to the motorcycle show in Birmingham (England not Alabama). We think it looks pretty good, although not too impressed with the quality of the paintwork when it arrived last night : ( Once the show is finished we'll be taking it down to the dyno to fine tune the Rapid-bike controller, then we'll post a few figures.
For those that complain of high speed weave on the Uly, the LSL steering damper from the other XB series fits perfectly, just make sure you get the 56mm fork clamp.

Trojan, lookin good! thats some kinda serious handguard rigging you've got goin there wow! what is that? 1" aluminum? i like the sculpted 'seashell' handguard screens and airbox - does it talk like the knightrider 'kit' car? Whats the story with the exhaust shield design and unladen seat height with the lightning long seat?

Thanks for the positive comments guys : )

Handguards are billet aluminium from Pro-Bend, with their 'low profile' guards fitted. The exhaust 'bash plate' is 3mm aluminium and was made locally to our design by a company that hand builds complete steam trains!
Seat height is the same as the stock Uly, but the seat is narrower making it feel a little lower.
Seat and plastic undertray are straight from the XB12SS married to the Uly subframe. Tail piece is RRC.

I don't know how it goes yet, as I won't get to ride it now until after the show finishes on 6th November : (

I'm going to weigh all the parts that I took off, and I think it should have lost around 25 lbs +.

That looks like it ought to be interesting. The last unlimited championship was won on a bike that was around 600cc or less, right? It will be interesting to see how the Uly/Thor does there.

Keep us up to date on any TV coverage if you can. I think I saw one or two of those on OLN over here in the U.S. but its hard to keep track of the schedules.

I don't suppose you're getting bothered with any "I'm Thor" jokes are you?

Jack

I see you removed the lower belt guard, probably to clear the exhaust. It looks good. My question is:how did you handle the belt guard mounting tabs? Did you just grind em off or what? Thanks.

BTW,the bike looks very Delta Force, I'm sure Chuck and Lee would love it! Just need some rockets...

Nicely done.

Will any of these parts be available? I like the front pulley cover, muffler bash plate, etc.

Thanks

How much for the entire bike? Can you still put the bags on it? Very nice work, as usual.

Everything on the bike is available now from our web site. The front pulley cover is from Free Spirits and is available in black or silver. The muffler bash plate isn't on the site yet but we can have them made to order. They can also be made longer if required. Please note that these are made to fit the Micron exhaust only and won't fit the stock pipe.

I'd hate to add it all up, but I'll post a list of parts later. You couldn't use the bags I don't think, as the frames bolt to the underside of the stock grab handles.

Will you be taking this beast on the track??

We hadn't planned to, but there is an idea..........
