How embarrassing, pulled up at the lights behind 2 friends on their bikes, just put my new industrial wet weather pants on, they hooked the foot peg and stopped me from putting my foot down! Tiiiimmmbbbbeeerrr.... slow motion fall onto our side,
damage
Uly, slight scratch on the r/h hand guard, slight abrassion on underside passenger foot peg, brake lever rotated round slightly (bumped back easily)
Rider, ego
Pillion, bailled...nothing!

What suprised me was how easily I righted the bike (by myself), also it stalled and I had to turn the switch off and let the computer do it's thing before it let me start again!

I've done that twice so far. I've managed to scuff both sadllebags now and had to replace a turnsignal ($11.00). I can't wait for that low seat to get here!

I've got a low seat! :o(

BTW I've got the standard suspension settings and the bike with low seat is still higher than the dealers "standard" test bike, I'd rather the extra suspension movement!

Lesson Learned: The first time it fell over on the left side. Picked it up, put the kick stand down, hopped on and off I went. Second time if fell on the right side. Picked it up and ..... uh oh, never tried to mount the bike from that side and couldn't get to the kick stand. My ego was too bruised to ask for help so I stretched my groin muscle way more than a man of my years should doing a left footed karate kick mount while holding he bike with my right hand. Next time I'll put the kick stand down before I pick it up or just ask for help.
