All right, so I bought the demo bike (but it was initially ridden by Jon Flickinger, head honcho of BMC himself). Mine is S/N 44, so I should be eligible. For those of you that purchased within the first 100 Ulysses, how did you get your autographed windscreen? | ||

Sorry Doc but it was the first 100 to buy the bike not the first 100 made. In any case the dealer had to sign you up for it. My bike is 1062 but I was the 23rd person to order one. | ||

Mine is S/N 33 and I was the first in the SF Bay area to get one, and from reading various lists, I was one of the first in the country after all the Demo stuff was done when they were announced. My dealer goofed and thought nobody would be interrested in the signed windshield. I didn't know about the windshields until it was too late.......... I really wanted one but I'm paying for someone elses mistake by not having one myself. BC Steve | ||

Brother is correct. The dealer had to sign you up when you either bought the bike or put down a deposit. I got windshields for 6 out of the first 7 I sold. | ||

Yeah, my wife told me it was probably based on time. That's OK, I still have the bike! And a pretty low S/N (for better or worse!) | ||

Better yet Doc, be on the lookout for a Buell event in your area that Erik will be at. He'll autograph any part of the bike you want him to. | ||
