they designed the XB12X?
Riding it makes me feel years younger and reminds me of all those years ago when I started riding and things where much simpler?

Yep, you guessed it I picked up an orange XB12X on Sat. The ride home had me grinning even though I had only put 10 miles on her. Total miles is only 150 (after 2 rides Sun) so 55mph and 3K rpms are max. But man it's fun. Sitting up, looking over cars, and knowing I'm just scratching the surface on what it can do.
Just too cool.

So thanks Erik, you have a lifetime Buell rider.
Heading home to get her out of the garage for a short ride
Cheers

2hogs,
You know when Erik says on the Ulysses video that he "knew what the ride was that he wanted to take but didn't know what the bike was"....well I think that you just experienced exactly what he was thinking about.

Yep saw that video and now I understand it wasn't just marketing hype. It's a really cool bike. Makes me wonder what they do next?

I know exactly what you mean!
I've been riding the Uly to work while my other two bikes just collect dust. I actually took out the Road Glide this afternoon when I got home from just riding the out of the Uly in the mountains. The Road glide felt like a buckboard wagon and nearly beat me to death. I was tired of the Road Glide after 20 miles....I had ridden nearly 100 miles on the Uly and was still ready to go for more until I got on the Glide.....

The Ulysses is a terriffic bike and feels like I always knew riding could be like if the designers got their acts together. They DID!

Steve,
Funny thing. I put ~70 miles on the XB12X Sunday and only ~ 22 miles on the Road Glide. The Glide is my chill and enjoy the sights bike, the XB12X will be the choice for more ahhh 'spirited' riding :-) Course, once the side cases arrive for the XB12X, I'll have 2 commuter bikes!

Sheldon's finally got their first XB12x in on saturday. I was in there buying clutch plates.
I sat on the Ulysses and it was like "I've been waiting for you Nate"
That is the first bike that actually FIT me since I was 16.
