I wonder how many of us Badwebers have joined random sites just to get in the arguments people are having about this bike.

It is amazing to me how much people DON'T know about Buells. I have logged on several of these sites and it is really funny to read the post. It is even funnier to try to correct them on the misinformation they are spewing. The general bike riding population knows almost nothing about Buells. Usually what little they think they know is incorrect.

Do people really think that a company would just take a street bike, jack up the suspension cut up the tread on some tires and market it as a dirt bike... I am soooo sick of hearing about the muffler. It would be completely counter-productive to market a bike for something you know it is incapable of. Do people think that Erik Buell just likes to hear how his products are crap!? hmmm... let's see, we already have a bad rap for unreliability... I know lets put out a bike that is complete crap and market it for something it will never be able to do. Yeah that's a good idea. Buell could have easily done what Ducati did and put out a bike that makes no suggestions of riding in the dirt. But they didn't, they are marketing this for both sport street and "non-paved" roads! And btw, not meant for moto-cross... sheeesh

Sorry this has just been bugging me for a while now. But I guess I am preaching to the choir here.

/end rant

Blackbelt- Amazing how many people out there on the net are posting 5 year old rumors as gospel regarding Buell reliability.

Cdallen- Amen, brother. The number of morons that spend a grand total of ~60 seconds reading someone else's poor synopsis of what a Ulysses is and then deeming it "a complete piece of crap" is amazing.

I guess both things are just a case of the most ignorant people talking the loudest.
